Ramblings From A Sleep Deprived Mind. Take Two.

It's raining here in the ATL today. Fancy Pants and I slept in a bit...after being up for an hour nice and early :)
I haven't posted much here lately but I think I'm about to start getting several nights (in a row) of some good sleep. I hope to be posting more!
Greer is sleeping better and better. We have had about 3 nights now where I've gotten to sleep 5 or 6 hours straight. The nights where I only get chunks of 3 or 4 are still wearing me down!

I'm back to cooking my good Paleo recipes these days. I'm just too tired to post them! Promise to add some really good stuff soon!

Continuing to ramble I wanted to take note of a couple blog posts that I have really loved lately. I follow a LOT of blogs and they can all cause very different reactions when you read them.
Some can lift you up, some make you laugh. Some make you feel like you're not doing enough. But sometimes you run across a post that just makes you feel like someone out there knows exactly how you feel and you're not alone!
I read this post awhile back. I don't know Melissa Richie. She's just a friend of a friend but the part that got me on this post is about her nursing her sweet son. She's talking about how much of a joy it is, but that she's tired. I was thinking "ME TOO"! I wanted to send her a hug over in B'ham for being honest about how she feels. It made me feel like someone else "got it".

Another post of note is this one. I have been struggling with the same mom vs. work dilemma. I feel like she put it SO well here. I feel so lucky to be able to work from home so I don't miss any time with Greer. But it has been a struggle to separate work and being a mom. She is very time consuming and I felt resentful of her that I could not get my work done. Husband and I had to sit down, re-work the budget and find a way to make it work without my freelance checks. Now I work when I can and when Fancy Pants is awake I don't find myself bouncing her on my knee trying to work on design.
I'm rambling again.

So the point of this post is to say that I LOVE blogland. The ability to connect with other women who I have things in common with is great!
I hope you enjoy reading those posts.
Happy Friday!
