Crossfit Mom

It's Wednesday and I am still recovering from a Crossfit workout from Monday!
I haven't felt up to working out in awhile, I know my strength is down but I thought I could totally handle a scaled workout from the Crossfit Mom website.
Here was the workout:
4 rounds
15 good mornings 45#
15 knees to elbows
15 overhead squats 45#

I was tired just after the warm up but I knew I could push myself through it and I would be so happy on the other side.
From the get go I scaled the weight down to 35#'s. I started off pretty good, I moved slow made sure to not get out of breath. When your prego you want to be able to talk throughout your workout. About halfway through I was really feeling this and moving slow. I switched over to regular back squats.
The WOD at CFPT that day was:
20min AMRAP (as many rounds as possible)
15 back extensions
15 knees to elbows
15 overhead squats

I ended up finishing my 4 round in just over 18 minutes! I couldn't believe it.
I spent a few minutes lying on the floor and then when Adam and I got in the car to head home I burst into tears. I have no idea what caused it, it felt like instead of the workout releasing the happy endorphins like it usually does it made me super upset!
I was not feeling too well and went straight to bed when I got home. Adam brought me a plate of grapes and lunch meat and I ate it all.
I'm still sore today-wednesday!
The moral of my story is pregnancy really changes your body, more than I ever realized. I always saw crossfit girls doing kipping pullups in their third trimester. Now, I have NO idea how they do that!
For now walking and jogging will probably be it for me, the occasional crossfit workout but I might have to move down from advanced on the Crossfit Mom site!
